Traditional polyesters
Polyester-based polyurethane foam, as compared to polyether based polyurethanes, is characterized by the following properties:
– can be flame laminated to various types of materials, such as fabrics and plastic films,;
– has a more uniform cellular structure that offers greater resistance to the passage of air and therefore better sound-absorption;
– greater mechanical resistance;
– greater resistance to organic solvents.
These foams are used in various sectors, such as: automotive, textile, footwear, acoustics, home and personal hygiene, packaging, heat insulation.
